An Update from Eight Days of Hope

Eight Days of Hope has been a long-time standing partner who comes to the aid of those who experience tragedy. Their desire is to spread the hope of restoration and new beginnings through the rebuilding of structures and homes, but most importantly bring hope to communities and individuals that are recovering from unthinkable disasters.

With the recent wildfires in California, the Lord has opened doors for 8DoH to connect with local churches in that area who are ministering to those that have been affected. Here is a list of all the work that 8DoH have been able to be involved in:

  • Providing resources to two churches that are aiding families with groceries on a weekly basis. (This is a six-month plan.)

  • Partnering with a church to help 25 families with one year of assistance with their rent. (Rent has skyrocketed and these families all had their fire insurance cancelled on them in the past year.)

  • Purchasing air purifiers for up to 100 families who were evacuated from their homes. (These homes did not burn down but all have been damaged by the smoke that crept into their homes. These purifiers will allow these families to move back sooner.)

Continue to pray with us for Eight Days of Hope and their rapid response teams. Pray for wisdom as they prepare their equipment, systems, and team for future deployments.
