An Update from Lockport CARES

Lockport CARES is a vital partner in the fight against homelessness in Lockport. Dedicated to providing shelter and the hope of Christ, they serve individuals and families in crisis with compassion and dignity. Through their emergency shelter and support services, Lockport CARES offers a safe haven, helping those in need navigate challenging circumstances and work toward stability. Their mission to bring hope to the community, aligns with our missions to give every man, woman, and child repeated opportunities to hear and see the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They recently shared a beautiful testimony of a previous resident of theirs coming back to bless the current residents with Christmas stockings. A WAY TO GET INVOLVED:  

Each year, Lockport CARES holds an annual fundraiser called the “Coldest Night of the Year”. This year, it falls on February 22nd and it will help raise awareness of those that are homeless during the coldest times of the year. Individuals will have an opportunity to participate in a walk, give financially to the Lockport CARES needs, and hear from a previous resident who was blessed by the emergency shelter and now has their life on track.
