An Update from Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission
Niagara Gospel Mission is a gospel-centered mercy ministry to those in need – providing emergency shelter, community meals, clothing, life-recovery programs, support groups, and low-income transitional housing for men. We are so encouraged to hear how God has been using this ministry during the last few months. Here are a few updates they have shares:
They have a new building that they will be using as a women’s shelter. This shelter will be able to house 25 women, and they just began the demolition process!
They were able to serve over 2,200 meals over Thanksgiving and 1,800 meals over Christmas. These meals were delivered to families and individuals in need and with each delivery, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was shared!
They have started up a new program called the “Code Blue Program”. Whenever the temperature is under 32 degrees, they are able to open the shelters to as many people as they can. Through this new program, they are seeing 13-20 men stay the night at their shelters, where they are able to escape the freezing temperatures but also hear about the greatest Hope they could have.
Help up pray for our partner, Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission, as they continue to love on the homeless. Pray for their continue efforts with the new women’s shelter they are working on, as well as the Gospel Opportunities they have with the individuals that walk through their doors.
